Two sturdy mounting brackets allow for installation, with hardwiring not necessary due to the plug-in configuration with in-line switch. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMost useful for table-top work, whether mounted to the wall above or on the writing\/reading surface itself, the lamp can be carefully adjusted into a wide range of positions and can even be extended a couple of inches.
