In fantastic original condition retaining its early switched bakelite lampholder; a very elegant table lamp from the Swedish Art Deco period, featuring an adjustable brass knuckle joint for wall hanging if so desired.
The pill-shaped base is beautifully cast, decorated with a thin pressed brass cover, from the centre of which grows the question-mark shaped fluted arm. Every piece is in amazing condition, having a warm bronze patina throughout.
This will accept any down-facing lampshade with top-mounted gimbal fitting and would look particularly smart with a frosted glass globe shade - recommended opening size: 32mm.
