It's no secret that pewter is a favourite of mine, whether it's from Sheffield or Scandinavia. This piece here is quite unique, made by Standard Pewter of Kuala Lumpur, its spherical form in the Art Deco style and astonishingly well-executed with little to no damage to the soft alloy. Displays amazingly well on its own or with flowers, the light creating mesmerising depth as it passes over those simple yet striking ridges.
Marked 'Standard Pewter Co. K.L.'
Has one small nick and wobble to the opening, with light surface marks as expected, otherwise in beautiful condition.
