Italian Modernism at its finest - feast your eyes on this elegant reflector ceiling lamp, a glorious assembly of patinated brass. The swooping, slender arm and bowl with its connected rods are just that perfect golden warm yellow that only true aging patina can showcase.

Produced around the 1960s, this design is unlike any of its kind that I have come across. A lightweight frame with rise and fall mechanism is ambitious in its goal of suspending one very large cream enamel painted reflector which can be angled in multiple directions, as can the illuminating bowl.

From decades of use the arm remains at its lowest point as pictured, and if raised higher it inevitably slips back down due to the threaded clamp having worn slightly. Despite this, the whole piece is extremely sturdy, only bearing surface wear and dents. The dish, as expected, is ever so slightly warped with a few dings here and there, whilst the outside has been cleaned of the majority of ancient decorators paint. However, all of these quirks make for an especially interesting and characterful piece of lighting design, a real showcase of balance and Italian style.

This will be safely re-wired upon sale for its destined region in the UK, EU or US. Fixing screws and bulbs not included, but full specs will be provided.
