Framed Collection of Royal Mail Pottery Stamps designed by Tony Evans, England. 1987.
A work of appreciation that combines our passion for collecting with studio pottery - something that tends to go hand in hand.
This framed piece displays a group of now iconic Royal Mail studio pottery postage stamps including a total of four original blocks of six. All lightly mounted under glass with borders. These stamps feature beautiful pots by Hans Coper, Lucie Rie, Bernard Leach and Elizabeth Fritsch. Issued on the 13th of October 1987, they were a commissioned work by outstanding post-war photographer Tony Evans, who worked with equal success in both editorial and advertising fields.
All stamps are completely free of damage and fading, the frame in sturdy condition with only light stains to the mounting board as pictured.
