Functional as a paperweight or equally enjoyable as a standalone piece of art, this design by Pierre Giraudon is always a delight to observe and somewhat of an icon of the 70s. This particular example still faintly glows in the dark as originally intended, the lightbulb suspended in one solid block of clear lucite (or acrylic/plexiglass etc) to allow light to reflect and refract from all angles.
In good condition, the body having some light surface wear as expected and a short crack internally on the lightbulb itself as shown.
