A design that is difficult to come by in the UK, being an American patented design produced by The Greist MFG Co. in the 1930s. At first glance, it is a very attractive and well-proportioned table lamp, which can also be angled. This is crucial to its cleverly concealed spring clamp mechanism which sits inside the weighted base, allowing you to securely attach it to various surfaces - edges of benches, headboards, shelves etc. This can also be hook mounted to a wall, making it a particularly versatile.
Beautiful and dark patina consistent across the lamp with intricate contrast leaf scroll decoration to the base. All parts are original, including the bulb holder - a bayonet fitting which stopped being used in the US a long time ago.
