Carved from one piece of solid oak, this playful little 1930's table lamp stands on three separate petit ball feet connecting a spherical body, stemming four delicate arms that extend to the lamp holder base. The style is typical of the Organic Design movement, this lamp likely carved by a particularly skilful craftsperson in France and quite possibly unique to the maker. Warm in tone, an oiled finish protects and reveals its grain running throughout the timber.
