Occasionally something totally alien and a little bit bonkers makes its way into the SAD Gallery collection, and this petit pair of table lamps are certainly that.
As is immediately obvious, each simple wooden tripod base (possibly ash) cradles one completely natural sea urchin shell, its bottom opening the perfect size to accommodate a pygmy bulb and lamp holder. Absolutely striking as a pair - perfectly suited for bedsides - and just gorgeous when illuminated, revealing the amazingly intricate nature of the urchin structure and star formation.
These will be provided wired as-is for the UK, but can be re-wired for the EU or US upon request. The original G.E.C pygmy bulbs will not be included; they burn far too hot, which is a such a shame as the colour they produce is brilliant. However, a modern warm LED B15 pygmy bulb (max. 4W) will do the trick without overheating.
Very little wear to note except for very small chips to the base and one urchin having a 5mm hole near the bottom.
