A particularly fine set of twelve small table-top skittles, two of which are in ebony. The majority of the set has been turned in what we believe to be yellowheart hardwood, one of the skittles even bearing a heart shaped knot cross section (not related to the name or features of the timber)
Exquisite in quality, each skittle has been turned to amazing precision, with all of the delicate tips still intact and only some light surface wear. The pieces are amazingly tactile objects to hold, displaying very well in what is a very rare complete set.
