Set of six teak and brass napkin rings, Laurids Lønborg, Denmark. 1950’s.
Set of six teak and brass napkin rings, Laurids Lønborg, Denmark. 1950’s.
A perfect set for six diners, a group of solid teak mid-century napkin rings each numerically identified with patinated brass inlays in domino orientation. Similar copies of such a design do exist from the same era but those 'loops' tend to be constructed from various pieces of teak, not one solid shape, which is a testament to the quality of products made by Laurids Lønborg. Whilst there is no makers mark present, these rings came from an unfortunately very deteriorated branded box from when they were retailed.
Included in the set are individual vintage linen serviettes for an extra splash of colour. Overall in fantastic condition for their age and use, they make a wonderful addition to dining settings both small and large.
