A set of beautifully light and calming alabaster bowls; nine small and one large serving pieces. Alabaster has been the choice material for carving, due to its soft mineral composition. Each bowl is hand carved and features a scored foot to reduce unnecessary movement.

The root of alabaster, ‘Alabastros’, or ‘perfume vase’ is made clear through an almost translucent body that carries notes of other elements. Some of the smaller bowls feature watercolour streaks of orange and the large bowl has subtle hues of jade.

These bowls function as both decorative pieces, as well as serving dishes in a communal setting, with the large bowl acting as the central pieces.
