Unique Long-armed Brass Wall Light, England. 1960s.
Unique Long-armed Brass Wall Light, England. 1960s.
A singular, very interesting wall light most likely used as an 'up light', but also quite suitable as a down-facing picture light.
Lovely warm patina has graced all brass components from the backplate to the small 'cap' which sits atop/below the translucent shade. You might be forgiven for thinking that this is glass on first impressions, but it is in fact a bent and ribbed acrylic which has been formed into this conical diffuser.
Fantastic patina from age and use, the shade component being slightly more flimsy but sturdy once mounted.
